From: Eric Dennis on Sunday, September 6, 1998 State: ConnecticutStory: I was recently pulled over on a local highway (rt. 32) where the speed limit is a ridiculous 40 mph, I was cited for going 64 mph in a construction zone (where there was no construction, and furthermore, was not even posted CZ). On this particular road, in traffic, it would be hazardous to your health and well being to travel under 55 mph, and even higher on some days, furthermore, the part I was pulled over on turns into an interchange for I-95, and people speed up even more, and it's still posted at 40 .. I would really like some input ,as to what I might say to the prosecutor, to convince him to drop the ticket, I'll be going to court in a couple of weeks, so I'd really appreciate some timely advice ,as the fine is almost $400... Thanks in advance , Eric |
