Story: A miami police officer pulled me over and gave me two tickets. The first one was for accelerating rapidly, causing my tires to scream and the second ticket was for clocking me at 70 mph in a 45 mph speed zone (1 am). I drive a modified 1991 red honda crx, I admit its quick (1/4 in 15.6 sec); but its no corvette. I'm sure it was less than 1000 ft when the pig pulled me over. The 1/4 mile is 1320 ft. My point is that my car cannot accelerate that fast in such a short distance, and I'm positive when I saw those blues lights, I was at a velocity of at the most 47 mph. When I go to court, I will explain to the judge that my car is not capable of achieving what the police claimed ( this will be based on a stock civic-crx performance stat: HINT-real slow, 0 to 60 in like 9 seconds, so there for impossible to cover less than a 1000 ft at 70 mph). And also, I will explain that the radar gun used probably needed calibration, because how can my car say 47, and the cop say 70. Hey I can even say it was windy that day, basically I will create doubt...For crying out loud, how can the police give someone a ticket, because their tires made noise, that all depends on the surface and frictional coefficient of the pavement. I am positive two things will happen: the pig will not show up ( I hope..) or even if he does, I will win, using the laws of physics and engineering...
