Story: I was ticketed for making an illegal left hand turn out of a shopping center. I approached the exit in such a way that I could not see the "Right turn only" sign, and the median of the divided highway was large enough to provide left turn access. The officer pulled me over about 1/2 mile down the road. When I asked what I did wrong, he refused to tell me at first, just asked for my license and registration. Finally after repeated prodding, he did tell me - I explained that I couldn't have possibly seen the sign. He goes back to his car, and I think I'm getting a writen warning. He comes back with a $78 ticket! "Violation of a traffic control device"! I said "this is unbelieveable - you mean I would get the same ticket for running a red light?" The cop said "I don't make the rules". This is true, but for all you law inforcement officers out there - YOU DO ENFORCE THE RULES! LAWS ARE POWERLESS WITHOUT ENFORCEMENT! PLEASE USE COMMON SENSE AND DON'T PENALIZE THE PEOPLE WHO DON'T DESERVE IT!

Tell Them What You Think!
They have sworn to serve you
