From: Carl Harris on Friday, August 27, 1999 State: Georgia Story: The Gwinett County Police asked me if I had any knives or guns. I told him I have a pocket knife in my pocket and a gun under the seat in my truck. I drive 80 miles to work one way, from the country to the city and carry the gun for protection. I showed the officer my permit to carry a concealed weapon. The officer took the knife and the clip out of the gun and said that he was going to put the two in my glove department and not to pull them out until I was well away from that area. After leaving the area, I opened the glove box only to find that the clip was missing. I searched the entire truck and the clip was no where to be found. I spoke to the officer's sergeant, later he called and said that the officer states he put it in the glove department. Seeing that I wasn't getting anywhere I reported the incident to the P.S.U. (Professional Standards Unit (770) 513-5032). They are currently doing an investigation on this matter. |
