State: Illinois

Story: Hi I got a ticket for speeding but the radar showed that I was doing 52mph in a 35mph zone. I know for a fact that I was not speeding . Should I go to court and try to fight it.Or just pay the fine because what are the chances of me winning ??? Help ASAP because I only have 3 days to mail the ticket..

Editor's note: Always fight your ticket. You only have a chance of dismissal of your case or reduction in your fine if you fight your ticket. Fight your ticket to make it more expensive for the state to get the money from you. Remember, the name of the game is not safety, it is how state bureaucrats can get to your hard-earned dollars.
