From: scribboy@aol.com on Wednesday, June 9, 1999 State: Massachusetts Story: I was stopped this morning on North Beacon Street in Watertown heading into Watertown Square. The cop was hidden off to the side of the road and came running out from his vehicle to pull me over. He explained to me that I was travelling at 51 mph in a 35 mgh zone... then explains to me that there is a blind school and many handicapped people in the area...on the ticket he wrote that I was travelling at 51 mph at a 30 mph zone...I really don't have time to fight this...but I'm going to...first because I feel he was out there trying to trap motorists...If they saw his car...of of course they would slow down...secondly...he tells me that the speed limit is one thing...then writes another.. If anyone has any advice for me...about appearing in court to fight this...I would appreciate it...e-mail me! |
