Story: I was traveling on RT 190 going towards school when I noticed a couple of cars pulled over on the side about a mile ahead. So i went into the passing lane as i normally would when i see people on the side of the highway. So i eventually realize that a state trooper had pulled over someone. As I came closer i saw the officer outside the individual's car. As he turned to go back to his cruiser, he looked at my car and motioned me over. Mind you, there was no traffic.

So he pulls me over and after about 10 minutes he comes to my car. He tells me that i was going 86 in a 65. Seeing he was not in his car, i don't see how he could

  • 1. judge my speed in the lack of traffic and
  • 2. without use of radar.

So he takes my documents and goes back to his car. After about 3 minutes he takes off again after yet another person. This officer pulled over 3 people in under 15 minutes. So, not knowing what to do, i threw my hazards on and crept up towards him, about 2 miles ahead. My question is, what if the person didn't pull over.. then i would be out of my license and registration.

So, i'm contesting this ticket. There is no way that i was going 86. I drive an old 85 Plymouth Reliant... it does not go 86 miles an hour..

That is burying the needle which is something i've never done or would do. So yeah. i hope this gets posted. Officers should have more responsibility. I'm a student, i can't afford to be screwed.
