From: Jessica on Monday, April 26, 1999 State: Michigan Story: I was traveling down one side of the road and the ploice officer was traveling down the other. The speed limit was 45 and I was doing 55, but he clocked me at 60 and gave me a 5 over. I fought it, saying that the radar is incorrect when used while moving, which is what a police officer AND a magistrate told a friend of mine. The magistrate still found me responsible and I had to pay the $70 fine. I appealed it and am going to court tomorrow to state my case. |
