State: New York

Story: I was on a 40mph road behind someone doing the limit when the road turned into 2 lanes and started to go straight up a hill for about a half of a mile, as soon as I got into the 2 lane part the car infront of me got into the left lane therefore I got into the right lane and proceeded to pass.

I was doing 60mph when the cop got me. This was at 10:25 at night when the only other car on the road was the one that was in front of me.

This is a road I take everyday to college, where people pass me doing 65-70 where 55-60 is an average speed....40 is the limit...ridiculous.

I need help I am under my parents inurance and we cannot afford for the price to go up.
