State: Pennsylvania

Story: This happened to my son coming home from college for the Thanksgiving holiday last week.

He was on the NJ Tpke going to NY.... he admitantly was doing 75. He trooper pulled over 3 motorists. All three were out of state plates ... (it's harder to fight back that way)

The fine was $52.50 (I love the $.50)E.M.S.-$10, CAT $30, Costs (?) $26, J.C.P. 1.50 plus $5 mailing costs (don't forget we're out of state.)... I don't mind paying the fine ... he was guilty....But to have to pay for instate programs that inflate the fine is rediculous.

There were two crimes committed that day ... the speeding and the robbery that followed.

PS I'm now spending more money trying to get the address to mail the fine to ... the trooper's handwriting is illegible on the summons.
