Vascar-timed at 66 in 45 zone
This stretch of road is a four lane, but travels through business sections, usually 40-45 mph. After leaving a business section, the road opened up like a regular highway for about 2 miles. I was stuck behind a very slow driver. I knew this section of road was enforced, but I decided to pass for my own safety (it was an older driver); another car tailgated me, so I sped up and was caught. I do not believe I was going 66, but definetly over the limit to pass the car. I am waiting on a hearing date.
Any suggestions?
