Story: On a cool Friday evening I was traveling through a small local town
that just recently implemented a police force.. The speed limit is 35 mph..
To my surprise this Jeep/cruiser come flying out of nowhere saying that I
was going 59 mph.. Asking questions about what device was used to determine my speed, I got the him haws about a Robic Cronometer.. Knowing little about this device I have done some research on it and have found that this is a stop watch with some distance calculating procedure that I feel has some room for human error.. I personally feel that I was not going 59 mph but will admit that I was not going 35 mph or less.. I feel that there has been some added mph given to this ticket to help provide some money for this little town.. Has anyone been ticketed with this form of device and what is a good way to plead my case..? Is there any way out of this..? Any input would be much appreciated..
