From: klong on Thursday, October 14, 1999 State: Pennsylvania Story: I was traveling through Carrolltown Pa. I was in the middle of a string of traffic traveling 30 mph in a posted 35 mph area. as i was entering a traffic light the light turned yellow. the car behind me stopped making me at the end of the line. one half north on rt 219 at the bottom of a grade a local yocal was setting with vascar, stopped me ( no else ) said i was doing 54.2 in a 35 using a timing device over a 100 ft distance means for every .100 sec reaction time in tripping the clock there is approx 4 mph error in speed. I guess Carrolltown business's don't want any tourist trade. |
