From: Chaz on Saturday, June 12, 1999 State: Tennessee Story: I was driving in Franklin, TN and had just stopped at a stop light on Old Hillsboro Rd. I accelerated as normal and wasn't really paying attention. After about 100 yds. my radar detector just shot up to the top and I slowed down very easily. The policeman pulled me over and when he told me I was going 48 mph in the 30 mph zone I was shocked. At that moment and to this day I am still in amazement of how in my olds 88 I got to 48 mph in just 100 yds. I am awaiting the court case which I am pondering of contesting the ticket. If you have any help or advice on contesting the ticket, please email me. |
