From: JEROME EMDUR on Thursday, October 28, 1999 State: Pennsylvania Story: The Police Chief of Dauphin is a busy beaver with identical stop watches. In searching for ACUTRAC (radar), I came across the August 10, 1999 story by "tmjk@epix.net". She did not state that she was driving thru DAUPHIN. That was the City of DAUPHIN.. I also see another story about tickets for the City of Dauphin listed by another person in 1998. My son was going thru construction zone... His story is identical to tmjk@epix.net except he was stopped for going 4/10 th's of a mile less. Same location... same construction... same ticket... same officer(i am sure)... same railroad snow-job... clocked at 51 MPH when he was doing 40 MPH or less... same ticket value at $192 dollars... Preprinted ticket... only thing missing was his name and driving information... same cattle chute... same construction zone... I did contact the DAUPHIN COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE this week. The deputy Chief is looking working on helping as it seems that the Chief Sheriff of Dauphin County was stopped by the same Police Chief at the same spot. Seems that they do not remember lines painted on the roadway which is required for ACUTRAC. I think 51 MPH is magic compared to 50 MPH. Hope my son does not get locked up this week. |
